Caravel Minerals Limited
Copper
Lake Ninan, WA
The Caravel Copper Project was first named in 2018, being originally identified in 2016 as the Calingiri Project. Since that time, several drilling programs have been undertaken across the Project, confirming the presence of 3.03 million tonnes of copper within the Bindi (north) and Dasher (south) orebodies. With the accelerating transition to renewables and electrification over the next decade, copper is forecast to become the world’s most in-demand metal.
Caravel engaged Preston Consulting in 2021 to secure approvals for the construction and operation of the Project. We have provided ongoing project management services and prepared approval documentation under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA) and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth). Approval documentation prepared includes referral documentation, Environmental Scoping Document and Environmental Review Document.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work across Australia. Our office/work locations are situated on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja and Gnaala Karla Boodja.
